The name & the mark

संहिता — a careful compilation of records.

संहिता (saṁhitā) in Sanskrit means a careful compilation — a body of records joined together with discipline. The SamhitaOffice mark is built around that idea: four panels arranged around a central square — the four everyday disciplines of an office (writing, calculating, presenting, archiving) gathered around the document itself.

Each module carries its own colour and its own panel of the mark — Patra in blue for the written word, Hisab in green for the numbers, Pradarshan in orange for the briefing, and PDF in red for the archival record. Together, under the CIVVS.SamhitaOffice® umbrella, they form the supplied institutional suite.

The CIVVS® trademark (Trade Mark No. 5320410, Class 9) is owned by Chakit Vaish, proprietor of CIV Ventes & Services, and is used as the product-brand identity for SamhitaOffice Gov Edition supplied under the Swadesh Enterprises supply chain.

Detailed open-source and third-party notices are supplied with the software package where applicable.
